In case you are wondering how this all started....well...While teaching a geography lesson to my 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, I pointed out all the states that I had traveled to during my lifetime and was heartbroken to find out many of them had never ventured outside of Rome, Georgia. Some had never even been to Atlanta, which is less than an hour away from us. When the kids couldn't tell me what a cockpit was...I knew then that I was going to broaden their horizons and take them somewhere!!!! On our first flight...I think there were five of us out of 43 who had ever flown anywhere before.
